"Christ Active Involvement in our Lives"
*life does not always go as planned
*Mary took the problem to Jesus
*His response seems harsh, but reminds us that He had a greater purpose (to fulfill His Father’s will)
*this is recorded as one of Jesus first miracles
*Mary is calling for help because of the wine but she is crying out for herself as well (she has been accused of being the mother of a bastard child
*when you are confronted with a problem, take it to Jesus
*just do what Jesus says to do…
*Jesus can change any situation
*Jesus will not do things the way we want them done
*the Governor is amazed by the quality of the new wine
*the Governor did not know but the servants knew
*nobody knows what you are going through but Jesus did
*God always demonstrates his power and has provision
he provides something that subscribes to the flesh
he also provided something that subscribes to their faith
he provided something that subscribes to their future
*you know you can survive because you have read and seen what God has done before
*he cares about the smallest details
*as you go through chaos take confidence that we serve a God that is victorious
*we serve a God who is able and participates in our common everyday lives. All we have to do is give him permission
*Mary could sit back and testify “I Told You”
“Jesus actively participates in our everyday lives”
You can take Jesus with you everywhere you go
