Rev. Jimmy D. Hubbard was born in Meridian, Mississippi. He spent his boyhood years in New Orleans, LA and at the age of 15 Rev. Hubbard moved  back to his birthplace (Meridian, MS) where he attended Northwest Jr. High and from there he went on to attain his High School Diploma from Meridian High School. While serving as a police cadet with the Meridian Police Department, Rev. Hubbard accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  Rev. Hubbard has one child, a daughter and her name is Japinica Hubbard and two biological grand children Jamir and Jelani as well as several surrogate grand children whom he spends a lot of time with during his down time. 
In the beginning of 1992 he entered the military under the delayed entry program and on May 27 he left for basic training. While serving his country Rev. Hubbard was called into the Gospel ministry in 1996 under Pastor R. Williams at Camp Walker Chapel in Taegu, Korea. He was licensed into the Gospel ministry under the leadership of Pastor Obadiah Clemmons, Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, of Meridian, MS. He was ordained under the leadership of Pastor Willie J. Freeman, Greater Missionary Baptist Church, of Clarksville, TN.
He is the newly elected Pastor of Greater Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN. Additionally, in the past 25 years Rev, Hubbard has served in the capacity of Youth Pastor, Director of the Youth Dept., Singles Ministry Director, adult teacher for Sunday School, Bible Study, and VBS as well as one of the Chief Care Ministers of Greater Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie J. Freeman.
After 7 years of honorable service he left the military and matriculated through the halls of academia attaining his credentials in Automotive Technology (Tennessee Technology Center); Forensic Science (School of Criminal Justice); Bachelors in Business Administration (Austin Peay State University); Master’s of Science Degree (Capella University); and numerous semester hours towards his Masters of Divinity (Southern Baptist Theological Seminary).
Rev. Hubbard has preached at numerous gatherings and in many settings and platforms around the world. He is a student of continuous learning and he is a lifetime advocate for education. He aspires to author books and be a role model to men and young men by mentoring and discipling them in the things of God. Rev. Hubbard believes that Christians should enjoy life to the fullest and his favorite scripture is: Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
